The Good
This the first Atlantis game I really complete totally. That means the puzzle are much easier than in the previously parts. The good thing about it is that you don't get frustated so fast. But I must say, there are a few puzzles which are stil though. Or that depends on mine intelligence.
Another good thing is the graphics. They are very smooth and looking very real. And the fact that it is all pre-rerenderd, means that you don't use a supercomputer to play this game. But when you compare it with part 2, you'll notice that there aren't much improvements. It is still the same engine. On the other hand, why change something that is allready good.
And the best part of the game is the music. It fits exactly in every location where you are in the game. All of the three mainplaces have its own beautiful music.
The last best part is Chiara Mastroianni. She lend her voice and looks to the main character of the game. And you'll see she is a very beautiful girl.
The Bad
I expect more. In my eyes it was to easy. Also the fact that the story is lineair, so you won't play this one over and over. The story is also very weird, I don't wonder about it that it has cost weeks to write it. But for the rest it is a great game.
The Bottom Line
This is the first game I bought this year and I am very pleased with it. I enjoyed the story, the music, the actress and the puzzles. I recommendend this to anyone, who would like to play a game without shooting, without blood and with a very inlogical story. Atlantis is in my eyes the best puzzle/adventure game ever made.

A decent adventure, but not the best in the series.
The Good
I have a different opinion about Atlantis 3. Although overall it is not a bad game, it falls far short of being a great one.
My favorite parts of the game include its ..
Random solutions (different for each player) ā¦ Easy-to-medium difficulty ā¦ The way they are interwoven into the story ā¦ Varied types (no color or sound puzzles and no mazes!)
Beautifully rendered in 3D ā¦ Cut-scenes are gorgeous.
Five players in your household can be playing the game at the same time.
Point and click ā¦ No limit to the number of saved game slots ā¦ Direction cursor āsnapsā into position when clicked, eliminating dizziness.
Not really a musical āscoreā, but pleasing to listen to as youāre working the puzzles.
The Bad
My No. 1 gripe is in the title itself. This entire series has nothing to do with the city of Atlantis. One of these days, somebody is going to make a game about the real lost city. Until then, I guess weāll just have to wait.
Just getting the game to run was a chore because of ā¦
The old āInstall Shieldā Cryo used ran in loops until I disabled āAutoRunā.
If you pick the wrong resolution in the āoptionsā, the graphics and sound may stutter, skip or cause a system hang up.
After getting the game to run, these are the main things I disliked about it:
The Bottom Line
Donāt get me wrong - Atlantis 3 (aka Beyond Atlantis 2) is not a bad game, but to me it rates only an average score. The story moves along pretty slowly at first, but it does get better as you get deeper into it. You will enjoy the puzzles and the graphical experience, so itās a worthy purchase.
