Description
A sequel of sorts to 2001's
Vicious Cycles, this game also casts the player as an agent, implanted into the body of someone else in the timeline, re-living a scene over and over again (like
Bill Murray in
Groundhog Day) until a critical historical moment can be reversed. In this case, the player needs to make sense of the actions of a handful of people in and around a crowded parade-ground in order to prevent a political assassination.
The game's interface is presented as text to be read with clickable hyperlinks for inventory items, concepts to ponder, people to observe and locations to visit. The game is interpreted by the author's proprietary
blink! JavaScript engine.
