Black Moon Chronicles is a strategy game based on the comic book series of the same name.

The player is cast as Wismerhill, a Half-Elf, who is forced to choose sides between four camps: The Empire, The Order of Justice, The Knights of Light and The Army of the Black Moon.

The gameplay is kind of a mixture between Warcraft and Heroes of Might and Magic. The game contains some art from the comics.

Inspiration

As stated in the description, Black Moon Chronicles is based on a popular french comic book. The book scenarist, François Marcela-froideval, used to work at TSR in the early days of AD&D, and Wismerhill was one the characters he played while doing AD&D 1st edition playtesting. In fact some of the game background comes straight from his playing sessions in TSR offices.
