Inspiration
As stated in the description,
Black Moon Chronicles is based on a popular french comic book. The book scenarist,
François Marcela-froideval, used to work at TSR in the early days of AD&D, and Wismerhill was one the characters he played while doing AD&D 1st edition playtesting. In fact some of the game background comes straight from his playing sessions in TSR offices.
