Cyberdreams made a deal with Orion Interactive to market and distribute their upcoming titles, including Blue Heat, and announced it as an upcoming game on their website. However, Cyberdreams went out of business before it was published. David Mullich of Cyberdreams confirmed in an interview that "there was very little involvement with Blue Heat."
TechnologyAccording to co-producer Richard D. Titus, the photo technology used in Blue Heat was sold to Apple in 1994 for more money than the game ever made.
