In addition to the standard one-on-one combat mode, there is also a tournament mode where you will have to beat all the standard available characters, plus an evil android called Max. Two player mode is also supported, either using a split keyboard or a joystick. Just one more word is necessary - respect!

Brittein saarten pelilehdistö on ylistänyt Body Blowsin taivaaseen mainittuaan ensin etteivät oikeasti Street Fighter 2:sta pitäneetkään (vaikka peli saikin korkeita pisteitä). "Mahtaa SF 2:n ostajaa harmittaa, kun ei malttanut odottaa Body Blowsia", voisi lehtien sanoman kiteyttää. Pikemminkin SF 2:n ostajaa pitäisi naurattaa, kun kaveri odotti Body Blowsia.
