Atari 5200Digital Press - Classic Video Games (Dec 28, 2005)
I wouldn't recommend this game for the faint of heart or if you get frustrated with hard games because it will take hours of playing to figure out this entire game. Otherwise track this gem down because it's more than worth it.
ZX SpectrumYour Spectrum (Nov, 1985)
Scrambling around hundreds of screens looking for assorted objects and dodging hordes of nasties – sounds familiar, eh? Yep, it's yet another ladders and platforms game. But wait! Don't try for a getaway in sheer disgust, this one's a cut above yer average, believe me. So what's it all about? You've got to guide bouncing Bounty Bob around quite a few screens, hording unlikely combinations of clutter like flower pots, gems and cakes.
Commodore 64Zzap! (May, 1985)
The great wacky action forces you to play 'just-one-more-game'. 25 screens just get better and better. May well be as successful as it's predecessor.
Commodore (UK) (Oct 26, 2007)
Failure to time jumps correctly or bumping into enemies inevitably resulted in instant death, so picking it up these days can be a tad frustrating. Saving your progress as you go along via an emulator or the trusty Action Replay on the real thing, there's still plenty to admire about this inventive, cunning and addictive platformer.

Graphics and sound are not that special, but if you like platform games this has to be for you. If you find the low level a piece of cake then there's three more including the C'mon which starts you off with less time. Bounty Bob is good, solid hopping stuff but unless you're a platform fan you'd better not apply.

Bounty Bob relies on screen layout to fox players rather than the aliens which are all important in Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy. It is unfortunate that the character has been introduced onto the Spectrum market so late. Most potential customers are likely to say "Oh no, not another levels and ladders game!" But if that's what you're into you'll enjoy Bounty Bob at least as much as Jet Set Willy.
Commodore 64Tilt (Jul, 1985)
