DescriptionFor centuries the Dwarves have guarded the underground passages and fortresses beneath the world. But now a monstrous horde led by evil wizards has taken over these passages. It's up to a Wizard and a Warrior to stop these villains and take back all that is theirs and restore order to the world.
Brave Dwarves: Back for Treasures is the third outing for the Brave Dwarves in this series of platform adventures. As a Wizard or Warrior you will have to collect all the treasures and keys on each of the one hundred levels to move on to the next. At your arsenal you will have a bevy of weapons and powers to use that you will pick up from power orbs scattered through the levels. These power orbs will also add strength to existing weapons and each colour of orb denotes a different kind of power-up. Most of the Warrior's weapons are axe-like and naturally the Wizard's weapons are spell based.
Enemies are for the most part the usual suspects in all the different worlds of the game, from crawling caterpillars, to walking skeletons, to bats there's not many more for you to meet. Each world is guarded by a boss character who range from the aforementioned evil wizards to even a robotic contraption. Naturally as is in most platform games the player must also be on the lookout for hazards and pitfalls that he/she may fall prey to.
The worlds of the game present new backdrops for the the player to play against. The adventure will take the player from a conventional underground caverns, to a robotic factory, and even to two different castles. Once you are finished with this set of adventures there are expansion packs available for download from the developer's website.
