Description
In this short browser game players follow a day in the life of the black cat Eric. It is comprised of six scenes, from waking up until the evening, where Eric chases birds, looks for food or follows around the player's cursor. While telling the story, the game mechanics are based on the player's accuracy in moving the mouse. To progress, a course of connecting white shapes need to be followed with the mouse cursor without crossing the edges. For some there is an unlimited amount of time, while some parts are moving and require more accuracy. When the edge is crossed, a shattering sound is heard and the section needs to be replayed. Eric cannot be controlled directly. Instead, the story is furthered if the player is able to follow around the shapes.
The scenes are hand-drawn and coloured with pencils, and they are animated as well. The game counts the amount of mistakes made and the overall time needed to complete it.
