Description

Autumn Walk is the sequel to Winter Walk and uses similar gameplay mechanics. After having traveled through snowy winter, it is now the season of autumn and the Victorian gentleman is once again out walking wearing a top hat. This time he has the companionship of a dog, Colin, that was hinted at in the previous game. Instead of the wind blowing off his hat, the man now has to worry about the dog. Walking is still done automatically and the goal is to travel as far as possible while listening in on his thoughts. At various moments, the dog walking by his side will perform one of two possible actions. He will either stop and lag behind, and then the player has to quickly tap (or click) to get him to move again. If he decides to run ahead, the player has to tap (or click) and hold, and then quickly release before the line breaks. If it is not performed successfully, the man falls down and the amount of steps is reset. The storyline will continue however with the next session.

Just like the previous game it features achievements (mobile versions only). When falling down, the dog will now also bring an object it has found and these are stored in a separate journal. Just like the original game it is available for free, but now microtransactions are supported through an outfit pack that changes the man's attire (mobile versions only).
