Blooop

Description

Blooop is a two-player color-matching game. The players share the same screen and are assigned one color each. The object of the game is to match four or more discs of the respective color either in a row, a column or diagonally. During their turn the players can either place a disc on a column or remove one of the blocks. When creating a match the line connecting the discs goes beyond to the edges of the board. Every block this line intersects transforms into a disc bearing the same color as the line, while the opponent's discs that had the misfortune of getting in the way are completely removed. A chain of four discs is worth one point, while a chain of five or more discs - two points. To win, a player needs to gather the most points at the end of the turn, when no more combinations are possible. This may require strategic thinking since a reckless match may create a valid match for the opponent as well, or at least give him an advantage in the future.

While Blooop is designed as a multiplayer game, it can be played against the computer. In the options it's possible to change the timer duration and the minimum amount of points a player has to gather before normal winning rules are applied.
