Description

A simulator of an off-putting subject matter, the goal of this game is for the player to stifle media outrage at the Catholic Church for harbouring known pedophiles among its clergy. The game presents several Church-run premises in a cut-away side-view, populated by innocent children, potentially-criminal priests, and credible adult witnesses. Through pointing and clicking, the player directly controls the movements of Church enforcers dressed in crimson robes, intimidating adult witnesses to the sexual abuse of children before they can make it to a telephone to report to the authorities, or failing that distracting the resultant policemen while unspeakable acts go on under their nose. In a case of last resort the player also has a limited amount of literal "Deus ex Machina"s to play, removing red-handed guilty priests from play to exile in the Vatican without counting against the player's score.
