DescriptionSTWALT (Save The World At Lunch Time) is a roguelike-inspired RPG game set in a fantasy world. The player wanders on a generated map in paused-real-time. Apart from typical monster attacks (combat is carried out in turns and is based on 20-side dice rolls, same for saving throws) the player may be interrupted by various random encounters. These range from beneficial (item finds) to dangerous (falling into a pit). There are also special timed events (be it epidemic, drought or king's feast). Various locations can be visited, from the usual villages, farms and taverns to mines, mage towers or shrines. Weapons, armor and potions can also be crafted in a workshop.
Four separate quests are available: from finding and destroying the One Ring to saving the dying king. Six character classes are available outright (Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard, Cleric, Hobbit), with four more unlockable (Elf, Dwarf, Paladin, Vicking). Achievements unlock rare items that could be found in subsequent plays.
