Burning Metal

Description

Burning Metal is a top-down car combat racing game in the vein of Death Rally. The main difference is that similarly to many other browser-based genre representatives, the entire race track can be viewed on the screen. The player always controls the red car and tries to survive a series of races, at the same time destroying the competition using one of the several weapons collected from the track. The weapons include missiles, time bombs and nukes. The player's car can be damaged as well by opponents. It's game over once the damage depletes the car's entire energy. However this can be replenished by collecting power-ups. Two other power-ups can either give a speed boost or bonus points to the final score.

The game features three gameplay modes: Single-Player, Local Dual (2-person multiplayer on the same keyboard) and Internet (where other players from around the world can be challenged).
