Power Play
Die Programmierer von "Flair" haben sich beim Spieldesign von "Elvira" deutlich von Rainbow Arts "Turrican 2" inspirieren, ohne allerdings nur im entferntesten dessen Qualität zu erreichen. Ein bunter "Copper"-Himmel, plus vertrackte Levels und ein paar nützliche Extras machen zwar Spaß, aber noch lange keinen Klassiker. Dazu fehlt Elvira einfach die Finesse und die technische Güte: Eine etwas ungenaue Steuerung, unfaire Gegnerattacken und ungeschicktes Level-Design verwehren dem Programm ein freundlicheres Gesicht. Besonders die C-64-Version ist, im Gegensatz zur erheblich besseren PC-Fassung, ein Schlag unter die Gürtellinie.
