Description

First Past The Post is a single player horse racing strategy game in which the player trains and races horses.

The player can have up to sixteen horses in their stable and makes money from either winning races, betting on their performance, or buying and selling them. Each race meeting consists of a 1 mile, 2 mile and a 3 mile race in which the player may enter either one or two horses. Prior to each race the player may bet on any horse, they are no limited to betting on their own.

At the end of the race meeting the player is shown the trainer stats and is given the option to buy and sell horses to improve their stable.

The game has many features such as;* Multiple courses

  • Races of different lengths where the going varies between soft, good & firm.
  • Horses weights can be varied.
  • There are other computer trainers to compete against.

There is a Save Game feature.
