Frantic Freddie is simple yet very
playable, and makes fine use of the
SID chip. Standards set since its
release back in 1984 make it look
dated, but all I can say is try it out
and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Now, I wonder if they ever made a
game based around Brian May…
ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
Like it's scenario, Frantic Freddie is a pretty tired game; there's a modicum of fun to be had as you scramble up and down the ladders to avoid the grumpy Greebies, but at heart it's just an old platform game in budget shape.
