Jungle Hunt Trivia (Commodore 64)
GraphicsThe IBM PC version of the game is one of the few games on the platform to display more than 4 colors in 4-color CGA mode on the screen at the same time by switching palettes mid-screen. This technique was not widely utilized however several other games featured it as well, including California Games and Frogger.
Original arcade versionThe original coin-op version of Jungle Hunt was a hastily-revised expurgation of Jungle King, removing all distinctive properties of Tarzan (the yell, the garb, swinging on vines -- changed to ropes) following the threat of legal action from the estate of Tarzan author Edgar Rice Burroughs.
