Der einzige Haken an „The Last V8“ ist die Schwierigkeit. Die abzufahrenden Strecken sind sehr kurvenreich und eng, die Zeitlimits extrem knapp gewählt und die Joysticksteuerung stark gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zusammengefaßt kann man das Spiel als fast unmöglich bezeichnen – uns ist es jedenfalls nicht gelungen, die erste Basis zu erreichen. Aber gerade dieser Punkt dürfte „The Last V8“ für diejenigen interessant machen, die eine echte Herausforderung suchen.
