ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
The game has some really good graphics (shells exploding in the water sending a geyser-like fountain up into the air) and the screen layout is well designed; but the emphasis is certainly on action, and very hectic it can get at times. Simulator fans may find it's a smidgeon too simplistic to satisfy them but for action fans it's a real treat.
ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
For action fans, the game's still a real treat. It's aged well.
Happy Computer
The Games Machine (UK)
Action and gameplay may seem limited but the game is fun and the eight missions, though relatively easy (and a real bind on cassette), provide a worthy challenge.
Computer Gaming World (CGW)
A hydrofoil simulation, this game has good graphics and play value, although the scenarios are intrinsically less interesting than one would have guessed. Strike Fleet uses a similar system and is a more interesting product.
