Commodore Format (Apr, 1992)
No other platformer has got the smooth graphics, the large levels and the excellently set traps of Rick D, IndyJones!
Brilliant in all respects. Don't leave your software shop without it.
A neat film strip graphic accompanies introductory text. The sprites are small but detailed and designed with humour; the backgrounds are well drawn, producing a good stone effect without falling into the trap of blandly repeating blocks of graphics. When killed, characters fall in front of the screen graphics, waving their arms and legs madly which adds a lot to the game's feel. Sound effects are drab but the title music is a great jaunty number.
80 (Jan 22, 2008)
Zzap! (Aug, 1989)
A playable and fun platform-style game but not much more than that.
Power Play (Aug, 1989)
Your Commodore (Nov, 1989)
The trouble with this game is the lack of variety. Problems are usually only solved by trial and error - you frequently have to throw yourself into the unknown. Once you have solved that part of the game though, it is unlikely to cause you further stress and soon becomes repetitive. Fun and simple to play, I would suggest that it is overpriced somewhat. It would make a very good budget game.
