ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
The gameplay is surprisingly similar to the Amiga version. Graphics are chunky but well-animated to give a good car driving game. Still short of lasting interest though.

The Games Machine (UK)
Test Drive has its faults, not least of which are the limited gameplay and lack of track variation, but as a first person racing game it's well worth considering for purchase.

All Game Guide
Despite its flaws Test Drive is a cool game for a short time. Replay value is limited since there is only one road to drive each of the cars on. One other problem is that the instructions say that you only get five chances. However I have received more than five at times so I have to assume you get more when reaching checkpoints or maybe it has something to do with your point totals.

Zzap!
An unusual driving simulation let down by average graphics, poor sound and ultimately repetitive gameplay.

Power Play
Tempolimit?
