Description
This is the first Special Edition compendium of Ultima games. Containing
Ultima I,
Ultima II and
Ultima III.
This ties the first 'trilogy' of the Ultima series nicely into one complete package. This trilogy is based in the realm of Sosaria, where you confront the Triad of Evil, Mondain the Wizard in Ultima I, his daughter Minax the Enchantress in Ultima II and Exodus, in Ultima III.
The FM Towns version has re-vamped graphics: overworld and towns look on par with
Ultima IV, while the detail in the dungeon graphics is close to the level of the
fifth game (as opposed to simple vector lines in the other versions). It also has CD-quality music and new intros for each one of the games.

The version of Ultima II that came with the Apple release of the Ultima Trilogy was actually updated to support the arrow keys of the Apple //e and looks like Ultima I: The First Age of Darkness for the Apple II.
