I consider this title a must-have for all nostalgic people that love puzzle games and like to take them on-the-go. Just don't buy it for Block Block. Buster Bros. and Super Puzzle Fighter II are what make this game great. If you used to like these games, you probably won't regret the purchase.

Overall it is hard to recommend anyone this collection for the price of $39.99. Super Puzzle Fighter is the main selling point of the title and the price tag is a lot to ask for just one game. Had this title been released as a budget title of only $19.99 then I would recommend everyone to pick-up this title to play Super Puzzle Fighter on the PSP. As is stands though only hardcore fans of Super Puzzle Fighter and big fans of Buster Bros should spend the full price on this title in the end.

Digital Press - Classic Video Games
Anyone who even glances at this PSP release already knows why it caught their eye. Puzzle Fighter fans finally have that golden Dreamcast version (sans online play) in America without the eBay price. The other games are simple bonuses, and given how superb Puzzle Fighter looks on the PSP’s screen, this is an absolute must buy for anyone familiar with the classic puzzler.

Had such a cracking version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo not been included in this compilation, it would have been easy to have dismissed the collection as a waste of time and money. However, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo by itself makes this worth the asking price of £19.99 (usually £14.99 from most online stores). The quality of other games in the collection is a little suspect to be honest and it's fair to say that most won't be too fussed about them. Had Block Block been done better and offered better controls it might have been worth playing but the PSP directional buttons and analogue stick just don't provide good enough control. If you want to own one of the best versions of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo to date then Capcom Puzzle World is highly recommended. If you're not fussed about Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo then it's far more difficult to recommend.

There are plenty of valid faults to level against Capcom Puzzle World, but the inclusion of a really good version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo more than makes up for those faults. The Buster Bros. games, while compromised, are still good fun as well, but if the Buster Bros. games are all you're interested in, you'll probably be a little disappointed. It might not deliver on the advertised world of puzzles, but Capcom Puzzle World is still one of the better choices for PSP puzzle fans.

Overall this is a collection that confidently answers the value for money question. At its low retail price, it really does represent a great deal. With this in mind, and the bucket load of fun to be found in each of the included games we would thoroughly recommend you picking up a copy for your PSP. Ideal for intense gaming, reminiscing or just passing the time on the long commute to work.

It’s quality and not quantity that makes Capcom Puzzle World such a delightful package that should please puzzle fans looking for more puzzle goodness for their PSP. Yes, it’s great to see Block Block again and even the wacky Buster Buddies but you can’t help but wishing for more. Then again, you find it hard to resist these slightly re-tooled classics.

Capcom Puzzle World isn’t a collection of the publisher’s puzzle games. It isn’t a bat collection, but just not as good as it should be, especially considering that other PSP collections, even from Capcom, contain many more titles.

Get a friend with a PSP to pick the game up as well and you'll see why Super Puzzle Fighter II destroyed lives when it released originally.

IGN
The new and improved Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is good enough to save Capcom Puzzle Collection from falling too far down the numeric "buy it" scale because it's still laced with digital nicotine. But as I stated numerous times before, it's hard to justify buying an aged game at a higher price when there's only one title in the compilation worth playing. Plus, none of the other four entries warrant more than a few minutes of tryout time and some weird interface issues make it difficult to enjoy ad hoc in a seamless way. This one's for Super Puzzle Fighter freaks only.

The inclusion of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is the only thing that saves this lackluster compilation of puzzle games from being a completely forgettable offering from Capcom. In fact, the number of games here makes the Capcom Puzzle World seem more like the Capcom Puzzle Small Town.

Chances are, you've played or owned these games on other formats before, but having such a great looking, and complete version of Puzzle Fighter would be worth the price alone, if the game wasn't so glitchy. From a jaded point of view this is just another example of Capcom reusing content and failing to iron out the emulation. From a fan's perspective, it's disappointing that Puzzle World isn't as robust or polished as any of Capcom's recent classics collections. If you do decide to take the plunge, make sure to keep the receipt handy.

If you absolutely need a copy of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on the go, Capcom Puzzle World is for you. The price isn’t too bad and the sound of the gems falling never gets old. But if you’re looking for a quality puzzle collection, you may just have to look elsewhere.

Yahoo! Games
From the consumer's point of view, Super Puzzle Fighter is best served up as a PlayStation Network download, or would be if the PS3's installed base was much wider. And unless you're a SPF fanatic, we'd advise waiting for the inevitable download to be offered, as Capcom Puzzle World isn't a compelling enough product to trade for thirty hard-won dollars.

Worth Playing
Capcom Puzzle World is not a bad collection of games — just an unnecessary one. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo can sell itself, Block Block is already on the PSP (via Capcom Classics Collection Remixed), and the Buster Bros. games are hardly revered as "puzzle" classics. Frequent freeze-ups and faulty controls hurt this otherwise decent package, which can only be recommended to the most hardcore Puzzle Fighter fanatics.

Game Shark
While Capcom Puzzle World doesn't deliver as much gaming goodness as it could, the great implementation of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on the PSP is really worth the price of admission. If you've played this game before it's worth enjoying again on the PSP, though the multiplayer side of things is a little less than user friendly and easy to set up. At the end of it all, this game collection is worth buying.

Worth the cash? Unless you're a die-hard Super Puzzle Fighter II fan, I'd have to choose "no". If it had about fifteen more games and was priced ten dollars cheaper, I'd certainly jump at it, but not like this. Sorry Capcom, not this time.

It's all well and good banging on about games that defined childhood gaming experiences, but essentially what does an 80s kid from North London know when he's horribly sunburnt and tipsy from a few sips of Sangria? That was then, and sadly for Capcom Puzzle World, this is now.

1UP
As a stand-alone release, Puzzle World basically consists of one very good (though very dated) puzzler and a handful of boring filler material. Even Super Puzzle Fighter fanatics will be hard-pressed to pony up $30 for this when Sony and Capcom could just as easily provide the game as a $6 PlayStation Network download. Really, the only puzzle here is why this collection was released in the first place.
