Chess, unsurprisingly, is an adaptation of the titular game. It allows the player to compete with another human or with a computer, with seven difficulty levels available. There are a number of pawn and board graphic sets to choose. The app keeps track of the player's past game results.

In-game ads are used to support the game.

Chess Android The beginning.
Chess Android Our king is under threat (represented by a red square.) For some reason the game refers to check as "Chess !"
Chess Android Colors mark the squares available for our pawn to move to. The yellow square marks the most recently moved opponent's piece.
Chess Android A review of the game so far. As you can see, the coordinates display is buggy--the row number is one lower than it should be (as of v1.0.3.)
