Chrono Quest is the US release of a french game, "Explora". The music is different in the US release.

Explora is a trilogy in France but only there are only two games released in US.

The box cover art was done by renowned artist Roger Dean; the game also came with a roughly 17" by 20" poster print of the artwork. The cover is also an important part of the game's copy protection scheme - the box includes a grid printed on translucent paper to be overlaid on the box cover; the copy protection will then ask for the color of one of the squares in the grid before the game loads.
