AmigaCU Amiga
CYAFT is an accomplished flight sim and definitely one to rival Microsoft's serious aircraft simulations - all it lacks is a large play area. Not a game for the trigger happy war junkies amongst you, but maybe one for people who want to fly some of the greatest planes ever.

DOSPower Play

Real sim enthusiasts will love the realistic control, the number of options and the range of planes and courses. However, even they may be disappointed by the slightly jerky graphics, even at the lowest detail setting.

DOSThe One
Playing Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Trainer 2.0 is like having a Chinese take-away: it's enjoyable at the time, but the after effects are a little disappointing. The program lets itself down by getting the small details wrong - which is inexcusable in a program which boasts heavily of its realism.

AmigaAmiga Format
If you like general aviation rather than combat, and fancy your hand as a formation pilot, you might find AFT reaches your itch. But sadly for most, the program doesn't quite come up to scratch.

AmigaAmiga Action
Flight Simulator 2 is considered the ultimate game for any serious simulator fan. It is against this type of market that Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Trainer will be competing. But is it good enough? On paper it sounds very impressive: the multitude of planes, the hundreds of options and the alternative scenarios. All I can say is that it would have been if the bare bones of the game were as good as its competitors. The controls are terrible, the scenery moves in jerks and the sound is very uninspiring. I can't recommend this simulator to anybody.

Atari STComputer and Video Games (CVG)
Advanced flight training that's not up to the standard of the great man himself.

Atari STPower Play
57
AmigaAmiga Power
Arguably one of the most flexible flight sims, packed with options and some fun scenarios. Unfortunately though, the whole thing fails to inspire due to the decidedly unfriendly pace.
42
AmigaAmiga User International
The approach of Chuck's Flight Trainer is so sedate and at times seemingly aimless, that it could put you off flight sims for ever. If it's an introduction to flight you want, go for Interceptor.
