Description

City Racing is a freeware street racing game that takes place in a large city with rural surroundings.

In the intro you arrive to the city with a car that's not more than a piece of rolling junk. You are in great need of money and a mechanic suggests that you try street racing, which is very popular in the city; there is even a 30 place leaderboard. Your goal is to make it to the top of that leaderboard.

There are two types of race: street races in which you race against opponents and time races in which you race against the clock. The difficulty of the races varies. Bonus money can be earned by not hitting civilians and by destroying police cars. When you have enough money you can upgrade your car (engine, body, transmission and tiers) or buy a new one. If the cops become to persistent you can buy a new car or (just like in the GTA games) just repaint it.
