Without doubt this is the best original C64 budget game we've seen for years and should kickstart a series to rival the Spectrum's Dizzy mania.

Not fancying the prospect of spending the rest of his life in an zoo, CJ The Elephant has bailed out of the aeroplane which was taking him to England, using a nearby umbrella as a parachute. Worse still, he's landed in France, with miles (or at least levels) to go in order to get back to his loving family in deepest Africa.
It's doubtful whether there's anything original in CJ other than the two-player mode and having an elephant hero, but the game is executed with such panache as to easily lift it to the top of the budget range.

Nothing special, sure, but a long way short of being totally crap too.

CJ's Elephant Antics is good fun and offers a reasonable challenge for the price. Although the quality of the graphics is, at best, fair - and never particularly consistent.
