Description
STORY
John and Harry are in trouble. Their somewhat corrupt lifestyles in the marketing office of their company is about to end when their company issues various "management quality control" from accountants to basically anything that may disrupt the lifestyles of these two British white-collar workers. Your job is to take charge of the lives of either John or Harry and make sure they're little "corporate adventures" go unnoticed as well as any other trouble that may come along during the missions available.
GAMEPLAY
As mentioned above, you take control of one of the two "heroes" of the game: John, the corrupt, sleezy co-worker and Harry, the nervous yes-man always watching John's behind.
Gameplay occurs in your office floor. Here you have your own office surrounded by co-workers and other related person(s) in 3rd Person perspective that may be zoomed in/out or rotated to your liking.
Gameplay itself is divided into 2 sections. First is your office tasks, the second are your personal objectives.
Daily Office Tasks
You are a white collar worker and you have to fulfill various tasks your office assigns to you (viewable in your PDA) on a daily basis. Each task has an amount of time that is used up (ie. 30 minutes, 60 minute, etc.) which you must complete before office hours runs out (9 AM - 5 PM) or get an official warning from your superiors. Get 4 warnings and you have to find a new job (Game Over).
These tasks are usually among the following: photocopying reports with the photocopy machine, phoning clients and making reports on your computer in your office.
Certain tasks also can only be conducted during a certain time. This usually refers to various management meetings. Not arriving on a meeting on time will mean a failure to meet the task requirement.
Personal Objectives
Your PDA will advise you on these objectives. Only by completing personal objectives will advance you in the game. Personal objectives are varied special events that will result in available special actions.
---
The strategy in the game is balancing the time between your personal objectives and your daily mundane office tasks. Some personal objectives have time limits (eg. Tuesday, 7 PM) and since those office tasks require a lot of time, choosing which task to do first is essential in strategic gameplay.
Social skills is also a major part of the gameplay in the game. Person(s) with good relations with you will provide you with more information (or gossip). If you have really good relationships with a person (ie. Friend or Love), you can even ask them to do some of your work for you, at the cost of ruining your relationship a bit.
Improving social skills are done by correctly using chat features or even buying them coffee, though watch out, your wallet is limited to 10 bucks (Poundsterling). Social relations are returned to default level every time you advance in a mission.
