It's time for revenge...

The hideous Red Falcon, thought to have been destroyed long ago by the Earth's greatest commandos, Mad Dog and Scorpian, has risen again, this time pissed off and thirsty for revenge. His armies are marching through the cities, across the lands, and with the intention of exterminating the human race like a bad case of fleas. Two new commandos, Jimbo and Sully, have come forth now to kick Red Falcon's ass and save what remains of the world from his hideous plans!

The Alien Wars begin!!!

Contra 3: The Alien Wars is the classical side-scrolling jump-and-run game. The very simple story is of course that the player needs to free the earth from evil aliens. So you grab your gun and take on the scum. There are lots of bonus weapons, which are really needed as the game will swarm you with enemies and the levels are pretty long and complex. It's possible to play with two players simultaneously.

It is the year 2636, and the Red Falcon has returned once again to threaten the Earth. The contra team must fight off the alien menace through side scrolling and top down levels.

This Contra game is the third in the series, and first appeared on the SNES/Super Famicom. It was later ported to the Game Boy.
