The Games Machine (UK)
Unfortunately, despite all of the good points - gameplay to match the coin-op, great sense of speed and high paced action - the player is allowed too many lives. A few hours of solid play is all it takes to complete the mission. Occasional obscuring of missiles and a 360 degree roll which is a tad tricky to induce help to increase the overall difficulty, but not sufficiently to redress the balance.
ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment)
Very colourful and fast-moving version - probably the best of the 8-bit ones. It's got the speed of the Spectrum version and far superior use of colour. Unfortunately the gameplay is still pretty boring.
