Nitrous Oxide teamed up with Doctor Neo Cortex and Ripper Roo to defeat the bandicoots. They staged a kart tournament in which the winners will be crowned Kings Of Kart Racing For All Eternity and the losers will be banished from N. Sanity Island.

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D is another kart racing game featuring Crash Bandicoot, from the PlayStation platformer series. In this iteration, six racers are available: Crash, Dr. Neo Cortex, Yaya Panda, Coco Bandicoot, Ripper Roo and Nitrus Oxide. Twelve tracks are available, as well as four different gameplay modes: Quick Race, Cup, Story and Time Trial.

Eight weapons are available, and items can be collected and dropped against opponents. Wumpa Fruits can be collected for speed boosts.
