DescriptionCRC 2005 mixes rally and road racing in one single game, with very different vehicles, and racing circuits, of which there are 65 across six distinct environments. Appealing to both arcade and simulation racers, the game features real-time physics with visible damage and extensive options to finetune your vehicle, both visually and in terms of performance. The game blends autocross, rally cross, off-road, dirt-track, rallying, road racing and circuit racing, and you will need to adjust your vehicle accordingly.
You can enter a full, non-linear career mode or practise in quick races and time trials. Unlike many other rally games, your opponents race along and can be hindered. Multiplayer is available through TCP/IP, LAN and the traditional hot-seat mode.
CRC 2005 supports custom music and sounds, skin modding and custom add-on multiplayer gamemodes, with dev kits to create your own maps and cars.
