Description
Culdcept Saga is a
Magic/
Monopoly-style video game in the
Culdcept game series.
Gameplay is similar to previous instalments. As in Monopoly, players roll dice and move around a game board, attempting to claim spaces and assess fees against other Cepters who land there.
The game includes over 470 cards - over 300 cards moved over from the previous titles, some were changed for better balance, and over 170 new cards were added. The game now supports four players online multiplayer play via Xbox Live with complete leaderboards and rankings. Other improvements include the ability to unlock various items and the graphical customization of in-game avatars, and high resolution graphics, partially rendered in 3D.
The game also includes a story mode, revolving around a young man who is sold into slavery in order to provide economic relief for his struggling village. Now he must fight over multiple battles to earn his freedom from slavery and then join with Princess Faustina in order to defeat numerous enemies and restore peace to the land.
