darkRun

darkRun is a Flash-based rhythm game where the player controls a small red dot against a black background. The aim of the game is to collect green and blue dots to advance through the levels. The quicker the dots are collected, the higher the score. Progress is made difficult because of the pulsating circles that appear in the playfield. There is a basic beat and each of the circles adds to the sounds, creating a coherent rhythm. The player can also contribute to that through the sound that is made when a dot is picked up. The enemy circles have a certain amount of gravitation force that pulls the player's dot in their direction. As soon as one is touched, the game is over.

The game looks very dark and without adjusting the basic contrast it can be difficult to read all information on the screen.
