Description

Battles in Normandy is a turn based strategy in the Decisive Battles of World War II series.

The game uses a hexagonal grid with similar gameplay as its predecessor Korsun Pocket. Units are represented by icons and can be given orders during your turn. The game takes place in Normandy during Operation Overlord. There are two campaigns that will pit you against the enemy on both the sea, air and land. From the air you can drop paratroopers or bomb cities and battleship can bombard the coast; amphibious vehicles have to transport the infantry to the battle. You can play as both the Germans and the Allies.
