    3 октября 1993 года является черным днем в истории спецназа США. Именно тогда в рамках кампании "Возрождение надежды" в Сомали американцами была предпринята попытка захвата полевого командира Мохамеда Фарраха Айдида и его ближайшего окружения. Это должно было способствовать скорейшему налаживанию мирной жизни в измученной гражданской войной стране.

    Однако в реальности эта операция стала самым большим провалом американского спецназа со времен войны во Вьетнаме. Потеряв несколько десятков бойцов убитыми и ранеными спецназовцы были вынуждены отступить...

    Измените ход истории и попытайтесь сделать то, что не удалось лучшим американским бойцам. Возглавьте отряд спецназа, отправляйтесь в Сомали и постарайтесь возродить надежду у ее народа. У американцев это не получилось. Докажите, что вы лучше!

    Особенности игры

    • реальная боевая операции, которую пытался провести американский спецназ в 1993 году в Сомали в рамках кампании "Возрождение надежды";
    • новый графический движок, превосходящий движок "Команча 4" и обеспечивающий самые современные визуальные эффекты;
    • революционная система AI, позволяющая бойцам отряда действовать с учетом малейших изменений в обстановке, а противникам - выслеживать их и устраивать засады в самых непредсказуемых местах;
    • несколько десятков видов оружия, реально использовавшегося спецназом во время операции, в том числе ослепляющие гранаты, снайперские винтовки, крупнокалиберные пулеметы - и многое другое;
    • военная техника, оснащенная тяжелым вооружением, включая как джипы и вертолеты спецназа, так и автомобили противника;
    • многопользовательская игра по локальной сети или по Интернету, а также возможность впервые принять участие в соревнованиях официальной Российский лиги "Дельта".

    Ende 1992 starteten die USA gemeinsam mit den Vereinten Nationen eine noch nie da gewesene humanitäre Aktion mit dem Ziel, die Menschen in Somalia mit Nahrung zu versorgen. Name der Aktion war Operation Restore Hope. Um zukünftige Unruhen zu vermeiden, halfen sie darüber hinaus bei der Gründung einer Regierungskoalition, die die bisher existierenden Splittergruppen ersetzen sollte.

    Im August 1993 erhielten Delta Force-Mitglieder sowie Army Rangers die Aufgabe, die Befehlshaber dieser Splittergruppen zu beseitigen, allen voran Mohamed Farrah Aidid und seine Männer. Es gab sechs Task Force Ranger-Missionen, die mit dem unrühmlichen Angriff in Mogadischu endeten.

    Delta Force: Black Hawk Down basiert auf dieser Militäroperation und lässt den Spieler die damaligen Missionen hautnah und authentisch erleben.

    Features:

  • Neue, verbesserte Game-Engine
  • Neues KI-System, das dem Spieler ermöglicht, mit anderen Soldaten zu kooperieren und das für taktisch klug agierende Gegner sorgt
  • Kämpfe Mann gegen Mann und groß angelegte Schlachten, wie sie für Delta Force bezeichnend sind
  • Lenke schwer bewaffnete Fahrzeuge
  • Zahlreiche Missionen, die auf der Operation Restore Hope basieren
  • Umfangreiche Multiplayer-Action über LAN oder über NovaWorld
  • Die Spiele der Delta Force Reihe wurden weltweit mehr als 3.000.000 Mal verkauft.
