Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, jako strzelankowy FPP, nie zawiódł mnie. Posiada bardzo ładną grafikę, bombowy klimat wspierany przez doskonałą muzykę i ciekawe misje, oraz masę, masę przeciwników, którzy tylko czekają aż będą mogli efektownie odejść z tego świata. Jako symulator BHD niestety nie sprawdził się, chociaż i tu wkradł się mały wyjątek – uczucie brania udziału w wielkim konflikcie jest wszechobecne i według mnie nawet Operation Flashpoint nie jest w stanie przeciwstawić się potędze BHD. Oprócz miodności trybu singleplayer gra charakteryzuje się również doskonałym, bardzo bogatym w tryby rozgrywki modułem multiplayer. Tak więc wszystkim, którzy stawiają na akcję Black Hawk Down serdecznie polecam. Fani taktycznych klimatów Ghost Recona i Operation Flashpoint nie znajdą tu wiele dla siebie, ale z drugiej strony grafika jest świetna i naprawdę warto najnowszy produkt Novalogic przynajmniej zobaczyć.

There is no doubt about it, this game is very impressive. Graphics are good. Sound is good, and better still the gameplay is excellent. It is just tough enough to cause you problems, but not enough to make you fed up. The only downside to this game is that you are likely to have to go and buy the DVD of the movie or read the Mark Bowden book to get it fully out of your system. This is a game you can expect plenty of late nights with as you try to conquer the opposing forces. You have been warned solider.

It's not easy to develop a quality game based on recent tragic events. But Black Hawk Down is an exception, combining fast-paced first-person action with accurate depictions of the realities of war that were first brought to light in a book then in a movie of the same name.

Violence. For males, there are only two things better than the combination of sex, drugs and alcohol, and that's violence and victory. Don't deny it. Don't cower behind the facade civilized life affords you, pretending you're too advanced to embrace its sick charm because you watch Trading Spaces and let people merge on the freeway. Violently conquering a foe is what we live for. In the minds of men, a pushy bully shouldn't be nurtured and spoken to calmly, he should be beaten back with a flurry of blinding assaults and his girlfriend should be made to hold the jacket of the champion. Cherish the darkness, wield the bat, and be the alpha male.

If you are looking for a good story or intricate plot development then you had better go play (or replay) Operation Flashpoint or one of many other war games other than Black Hawk Down. If however you are looking to play an exciting and intense action-strategy combat game with a bit of historical significance, there is a whole lot of quality gameplay to be found here despite a few flaws and oversights – none of which a good patch couldn’t fix.

Ganz schön beklemmendes Gefühl, wenn man durch die Straßenschluchten von Mogadischu robbt und ständig den Gegner im Nacken spürt. Da ist man fast froh, wenn jemand tatsächlich das Feuer eröffnet. Black Hawk Down versteht es erstklassig, mit dem richtigen Mix aus Spannung und Action viel Stimmung zu erzeugen. Wenn jetzt auch noch die Gegner nachvollziehbar reagieren würden, wäre die Simulation noch besser. Wirklich schade finde ich, dass Novalogic es versäumt hat, eine richtige Story zu erzählen. Gerade bei der Thematik hätte ich mir eine Geschichte gewünscht, die das aufgreift, was Buch und Film so eindrucksvoll beschreiben. Nichtsdestotrotz ist Black Hawk Down ein sehr gutes Spiel, dass durch einige Unachtsamkeiten die Erstklassigkeit knapp verschenkt hat.

Novalogic have put together a very polished game that plays to their strengths and doesn't allow the weaknesses to show through. If you enjoyed the film and want to play a game that recreates the same style of action then you will certainly not be disappointed. You'll easily finish the game over a weekend but the missions are so much fun you will probably come back to them a second or third time, and in between the multiplayer game will keep you entertained. Be warned though it is a very short single player game and as such people might ask you, "Hey, why do ya buy it man? Why? Just some war junkie?" Ya know what you should say? You shouldn't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it. They won't understand that it's about a few hours of great gameplay not a lot of hours of mediocre gameplay, and that's it. That's all there is to it.

Although you can breeze through the single player game in an evening, the multiplayer game has enough variety to last a long time. It's got almost enough gameplay to rival Battlefield 1942 as the definitive team-based action game, but with a much smoother, more ambitious, and ultimately more effective engine. It moves easily between fighting in wide open terrain and claustrophobic street battles, and it looks great either way. It's a compelling marriage of technology and gameplay that finally shows off Novalogic's years of experience making action games. Questionable subject matter and timing notwithstanding, this is the best game they've made in a long time.

Finally, one isn't quite sure what to expect from this title upon installing it. While it's refreshing to see that they game's designers don't base the game directly on the movie, literally none of the game entails anything that went on during the movie. Perhaps this comes down to franchise differences, licensing, the fact that that was the Army Rangers' mission for the most part or it was decided that the game didn't need this, but there's an expectation that comes with the title and it might have been fun nonetheless. That aside, this is a good, solid title and worth the attention of any first-person shooter fan looking for a new story to take part in and with a small patch or two, could become that much better.

Die ersten beiden Stunden war ich hin und weg von Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. So viel schweißtreibende Action habe ich schon lange nicht mehr bei einem Militär-Shooter erlebt. Danach machte sich allerdings die Ernüchterung breit. Keine Story, doofe Gegner, immer wieder derselbe Missionsablauf - hier hat Novalogic wertvolle Punkte verschenkt. Das ewige Geballer ist auf Dauer ziemlich öde. Ganz anders der Mehrspielermodus: Mit einem eingespielten Team geht auf den riesigen Karten ordentlich die Post ab. Außerdem eröffnen sich durch die Helikopter und Fahrzeuge ungeahnte taktische Möglichkeiten.

Like a good summer blockbuster, the action is entertaining, the thinking is kept to a minimum and most of the experience is forgotten when it stops. By no means is that an insult. If you’re in the mood for some compelling chaos, then look no further than Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. It’s a shame the singleplayer campaign is so brief because this is one of the few games that left me wanting more.

Kudos to Novalogic for abandoning their ‘tactical’ ideas in favor of a solid, good looking shooter. There are some balance issues to contend with, but in the end none of that really matters. The gritty feeling portrayed throughout the game is genuine, and the action is intense. While Novalogic could have slapped the Black Hawk Down name on a cheesy Quake 2 mod and sold a bazillion copies, they decided to take the high road and produce a quality game.

It takes a few minutes to figure out what kind of game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down really is. It opens with a solemn video showing the plight of early 90's Somalia, and if you rummage through the game's manual, you'll find some history on the region, detailed info on the equipment and tactics used by during U.S. soldiers, and lots of other terms suggesting "realistic" gameplay, such as "rapid aim fire" and "room takedowns." Even a quote on the box calls it "a serious tactical shooter."

BHD ist ein Spiel das nicht durch seine Grafik insgesamt besticht. Vielmehr sind es kleine Details wie zum Beispiel die Waffen und deren Klang, die unglaubliche Story (welche leider nicht erfunden wurde), die strategischen Entscheidungen und die humorvollen Elemente welche das Spiel ausmachen. Am besten umschreibt man ein solches Spiel wohl so: Ein intelligenter Shooter basierend auf wahren Geschehnissen der so Seinesgleichen sucht.

Für Anfänger ist das Speicherpunkt-System ziemlich schwer und außerdem sind Taktiker nicht gewollt, sondern diejenigen Spieler, die unter starken Beschuss mit dem Kontroller treffen. Der wirklich positive Teil des Spiels ist all das, das mit Multiplayer und Splitscreen zu tun hat. Hier trumpft DFBHD auf. Such is the theme for Novalogic’s Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, a realistic (and partially based on truth) retelling of the conflict that took place between 1992 and 1993 in war torn Somalia. Already, Black Hawk Down stands out among other first person shooters for taking place in an era outside of World War II and for portraying one of the most realistic war experiences of modern times. That’s all well and good, but is it fun? Read on to find out.

Nicht so toll ist eben die misslungene KI und das abwandern aller Nav-Points. Im Multiplayer kann das Spiel dagegen überzeugen und im Coop kann das schon richtig Spaß machen.

Overall, one cannot dispute that this is the flashiest Delta Force game yet. The single-player campaign is in many ways quite effective in conveying the sense of harried combat, and it all looks and sounds really good. Delta Force is an arcade shooter, so if you're looking for a bona fide military simulation you'll be better off with Raven Shield. Some of the game's glaring drawbacks might ultimately turn away those that are undecided whether or not they should buy this game, but if you're in for some solid multiplayer fun and a rather superficial, but spectacular looking single-player action, I think Delta Force: Blackhawk Down will have enough to offer to justify the purchase.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is a breakthrough for Xbox Live players. For the first time it is possible for up to 50 gamers to play at once, and the quality of that experience is quite good. At the same time the game does show its roots as a port of a two-year-old computer game that has been eclipsed by more recent console offerings. So the overall presentation cannot quite compare to newer Xbox games.

Są postępy!” - oto moja entuzjastyczna reakcja, którą głośno (ku zaskoczeniu innych) wyraziłem w kilka chwil od momentu uruchomieniu najnowszego dzieła Novalogic. „Black Hawk Down” to w moim przekonaniu najlepszy jak dotąd reprezentant wydawanej przez firmę serii „Delta Force”, a trzeba zaznaczyć, że liczy ona już sobie kilka dobrych lat. Pierwsza część ukazała się przecież jeszcze za czasów panowania słynnego 3dfxa. Pomimo przeważających złych opinii na temat całej serii, jakimś cudem udało się jej pozyskać sporą grupkę stałych fanów, co pozwalało na produkowanie kolejnych sequeli (a także skłoniło inne firmy do zainteresowania się tą tematyką, czego świetnym przykładem jest chociażby „Operation Flashpoint”). Niestety, były one coraz gorsze.

BHD is a great FPS war game, especially when it comes to the multiplayer part. Novalogic has taken a gigantic technical leap from their last Delta Force games. With a new graphic engine and new physics engine this game rises up along with the best war games out there. I only wish I could play through the singleplayer part of the game with a friend. The graphics are nice, with an easy to grasp interface, and the single player story holds your interest. The multiplayer mode is excellent, with my favourite “Team capture the flag” scoring highest of all the different modes. This is a game packed with action and playability, one that will keep you coming back again for a long time. If you enjoy living through the lives of soldiers in realistic situations and challenging missions, Delta Force Black Hawk Down is definitely a game to own.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down doesn't reach its full potential because of flaky AI and chunky models that distract from an otherwise deeply engrossing environment. Solid level design, feverish single- and multi-player warfare, and an immersive atmosphere pull it up by its bootstraps and resurrect this title from an otherwise certain bargain bin abyss. Black Hawk Down is a great example of controlled chaos done well, and a sign of good progress for the Delta Force series. If you're a fan of Team Delta or are looking for a tense and involving war game, you won't want to miss this one.

Not everything went according to plan. Thanks to recent book and movie successes, the public today know an awful lot more about what went on back then than they did at the time. Thanks to the current breed of super computer most gamers have laying about the house, today's gamer can actually get in there and mix it up - thanks to Novalogic's new title, "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down".

Based more on the brutal 1993 conflict in Somalia rather than just a specific moment made famous by both the book and later the Ridley Scott film Black Hawk Down, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down for the PC placed us in the role of the Special Forces unit in charge of keeping the peace. It allowed us a peek at the eruptions of violence that had President Clinton willing to drop all aid to the country and pull out the troops before things escaladed into an even bloodier mess. Two years later, Xbox owners are getting a chance dive into the conflict but with mixed results.

Overall, I kept wanting and trying to really love this game, but time and time again, one of the game's flaws would keep me from reaching that level of gaming bliss. Despite that, I did enjoy the game and have a good time with it. It's not as if the game has many flaws, but the ones that are there do directly affect the gameplay. I could easily have overlooked all of the other flaws if you could just see people at a distance better and more clearly. It's extremely annoying to be constantly taken out by enemies you can't even see, not because they are hiding behind something but simply due to the fact that they are so tiny they become one with the environment.

Delta Force est une série qui ne fait pas toujours parler d'elle en bien. Depuis la sortie du premier opus en 1999, pas moins de six déclinaisons du jeu sont parues. Le titre original n’ayant pas reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux, on a pu constater depuis un enrichissement, tant au plan graphique que matériel, qui a su re-fidéliser les joueurs tout en en conquérant de nouveaux.

NovaLogic has been pumping out its military-related games for years, focusing mainly on its prodigious number of Delta Force episodes. In all of that time, it stands to reason that they would become quite adept at creating a feeling of authentic scenarios involving some of our nation’s finest fighting men and women in hotspots around the globe. For the most part, they’ve done that through their many iterations.

Overall, Black Hawk Down is an average game that fails to impress for the most part. The shortcomings of this game are just difficult to ignore and the variety of gameplay just isn’t there. The story is also all over the place and the whole feel of the game just isn’t compelling enough to keep playing it for very long. With so many great military shooters out there, the Medal of Honor series for example, Delta Force: Black Hawk down simply doesn’t compete unless you’re really desperate for a new shooter.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down originally came out on the PC back in 2003, however it didn’t make much of a splash in the overcrowded PC shooter market. It provided a standard campaign experience and also gave a functional multiplayer component, but its presentation aspects were only average and it just wasn’t all that coherent or polished in its execution. Of course, the source material for the game, the lackluster movie of the same name, wasn’t much of anything so that definitely didn’t help. This being said, VU Games and Novalogic have created a port of the title for the Xbox, but the main draw for Xbox users is the 50-player support over Xbox Live. This feature does provide the multiplayer portion with some value, but the other aspects – namely the campaign, presentation, and gameplay features – all look extremely dated and bland, when they weren’t even good in the first place.

The reviews for Delta Force: Black Hawk Down have been rather mixed, and as a reviewer of that title also, there is a lot to be said for a complete lack of AI. Building on that greatness, Novalogic gives us the expansion complete with a little new single player, and a massive add on to the multiplayer that enables this series to stand up to the best multiplayer titles.

Enfim, "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down" é um típico jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa, que, se não tem nenhuma inovação, não ostenta grandes defeitos. O modo multijogador marca um recorde no Xbox, com 50 jogadores simultâneos - os 32 usuários do PlayStation 2 também reperesentam um número alto para o console -, e resultam em partidas divertidas, desde que não se esteja preocupado com seriedade ou táticas. Aqui, a união faz a alegria.

Black Hawk Down est un shoot somme toute assez classique. Les missions solo vont du décevant à des choses plus réussies et scriptées qui donnent parfois l'impression de se trouver dans le film. Le gameplay est néanmoins bien foutu tout comme la partie multijoueur vraiment très marrante à l'usage, contrairement aux autres Delta Force.

Although not much fun for the seasoned FPS veteran, Black Hawk Down had its moments. The settings were unique and large scale online battles were fun, but they did little to make me forget about the horrible and sluggish control schemes, outdated graphics, poor audio effects, and the fact that every single bullet that hit water produced the same unrealistic effect. If you pick up Black Hawk Down with the intentions mindless fun, perhaps it's worthwhile, but don't expect any sort of backstory or any reason at all to continue playing the game by yourself.

Beaucoup plus orienté action que ses prédécesseurs, ce nouveau titre nous propose d'incarner un soldat d'élite américain engagé dans une série de missions en Somalie et confronté à une population vindicative. Doté d'un rythme indéniable et d'une certaine variété dans les approches, le jeu parvient à distraire et il est clair qu'on s'amuse, même, avec des batailles rangées urbaines finalement assez bien mises en scène. Hélas, l'intelligence artificielle complètement nulle, ennemie comme amie, et le déroulement affreusement guidé des missions auront tôt fait de limiter l'ensemble à une vaste boucherie à peine organisée sur fond de conflit historique, ce qui peut tout de même surprendre. En somme, un titre défoulant et techniquement assez réussi, mais pas exempt de défauts tout de même.

Black Hawk Down est un pur jeu d'action, cependant l'IA très médiocre et le côté grosse boucherie donne un intérêt très limité au soft. La durée de vie du jeu est courte, le solo se boucle en une dizaine d'heures et le multiplayer a beau être fun mais il n'apporte rien d'extraordinaire.

Somalia, 1993. Delta Force, US Army Rangers and 10th Mountain Division begin 'Task Force Ranger' and 'Operation Restore Hope' campaigns with a view toward removing two top lieutenants of a Somali warlord inside Mogadishu.

On October 3, 1993, President Clinton sent Delta Force soldiers to the inner cities of Somalia to capture a military warlord for questioning. One situation, however, changed from a military operation to a survival mission when a Black Hawk helicopter was shot down by a rocket-propelled grenade from militants. Several of the surviving passengers of the helicopter withstood days of enemy fire while their fellow Delta Force soldiers devised a path to rescue them. This true story captured the essence of the phrase “leave no man behind,” a theme Ridley Scott found to be a great movie idea. He was right, and Black Hawk Down became an instant success of the military-movie genre. The release of Black Hawk Down for videogame consoles now, almost a year passed the PC version, and almost four years since the movie arrived to theatres, almost guaranteed its untimely demise. Adding insult to injury, the game barely stands as a playable title with boring gameplay and look.

Whatever you were, and whoever you are now, there was another story happening all together. Perhaps even larger than your weekly hit. I'm talking about the war over in Somalia. People of Africa were starving. Dying. Well, they were starving and dying at the same time. Civil war had erupted in Somalia due to the fall of its dictatorship and the rise to power of a bandit-like warlord. This led to slaughter, and to famine. The U.N. intervened in the battle to keep the people of the country alive while also attempting to disarm the power behind this civic military aggression.

For all that if offers, the entire time I was playing Delta Force: Black Hawk Down, either online or off, I just kept wishing I was playing something else. Even if I didn’t have Battlefield 2 and Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike waiting in the wings, there are just a lot of other games out there better than this. At most, I can make a cautious recommendation for those interested to RENT this game. You can probably find out enough about it and play some online battles within a normal rental period and if for some reason you find yourself liking the game, by all means, purchase it. At least a portion of the proceeds will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and that I can endorse.

Genuinely intense action is hard to come by in Black Hawk Down, and the game suffers from too many major gameplay faults, but unlike the last Delta Force game, this one begins to move the series in the right direction. Black Hawk Down would have been a more powerful release had it not come after Rainbow Six 3 or even Conflict: Vietnam. It simply has no place in the current sea of PlayStation 2 shooters; it is far too flawed, far too easy, and lacks far too much of the intensity that gamers pick up tactical shooters for in the first place. With Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and SOCOM 3 on the horizon, it may be best to skip this latest Delta Force altogether.

NovaLogic's Black Hawk Down hit personal computers in March of 2003. Two years and four months of work later, Rebellion's port of that surprisingly enjoyable twitch shooter is finally out on PlayStation 2. But somewhere along the development line fifty points of worth got thrown out the window. What began as sleek and fast somehow became a clunky, boxy, arid and generic first-person shooter with exactly one redeeming quality: multiplayer.

Adding more weight to our packs, Novalogic and Climax pile on yet another team-leaning military FPS. At least this one takes the road less traveled -- the road through Somalia in the early '90s. But, while Delta Force: Black Hawk Down claims it "leaves no man behind," it also will leave most gamers disappointed.

It's good to see that Novalogic has tried to create a game that will work on the Xbox and the PlayStation 2, rather than churning out the same game across the board, but unfortunately neither game excels enough to warrant a purchase. The campaign mode is rather dull, and while the online and offline multiplayer modes are enjoyable, they aren't good enough to warrant a purchase unless you really must play a large scale FPS on a console.

Bonjour, je suis un jeu de type FPS sorti il y a déjà bien des lunes sur PC, pas vraiment mémorable et tentant de redorer le blason d'une série tombée en désuétude. J'ai voulu faire le malin en m'inspirant d'événements tragiques que j'ai transformé en tir au pigeon. Mes parents se nomment Novalogic et aujourd'hui ils m'envoient en colo sur PS2 et Xbox où je fais encore plus pâle figure que sur PC. Mon nom est Delta Force Black Hawk Down et je vous dis zut.

Pas de mystère, un jeu déjà limite sorti en 2003 ne risque pas de faire de miracles 2 ans plus tard. Black Hawk Down sent la poussière, on a bien du mal à voir un intérêt quelconque à cet exercice de tir idiot et ses missions sans aucun but réel. Delta Force est décidément une série, si ce n'est maudite, à maudire.

We all know war shooters are a dime a dozen these days. There's no reason to spend half a page complaining about how developers need to start coming up with new ideas, so let's be brief. At the very least, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down isn't yet another World War II or Vietnam-based shooter and its namesake is associated with a suitably great Ridley Scott action film. Too bad none of that actually makes it fun to play.

And like those quiet, limp deaths, eventually the game itself keels over in the dust of its old age and overly familiar play. While not a spectacular failure, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is just another ho-hum first-person shooter, offering a big multiplayer canvas but little else. I wouldn’t call it as unattractive as a live grenade, but I wouldn’t go jumping on it, either.

Try coming up with an historical military conflict that has not already been used as the backdrop for a video game. The World Wars have been done, as has Vietnam and even the Gulf War. Korean War? Check. Civil War? Check. Mexican-American War? Wait...we have a winner! If anyone decides to blaze that trail in the future, they should come talk to me - I've got some great ideas for virtual burro battles.
