Demolition Man manages not only to retain the sci-fi movie's offbeat humor (choose the ''easy'' option at the start and Sly snarls, ''You suck''), but its seamless mix of shooting, driving, and ghting sequences, woven together by high-resolution cinematic interludes, actually outclasses the source material.

If you're looking for faster action than most games offer, then Demolition Man is your bag. It's definitely worth a look if you're interested and is worth playing through until the bitter end, if just to finally silence Phoenix's smug laugh.

For cart-hungry 16-bit gamers, Demolition Man is a welcome treat. It isn't the longest or toughest game you'll play this fall, but it's one of the most entertaining.

Action gamers will definitely want a piece of this game. Anyone else looking for some interesting graphics and "shoot first" gameplay will definitely find this a Man for all seasons.

My initial reaction to the thought of playing Demolition Man for the Genesis was not especially good. The movie was released so long ago and I'd already played the 3DO version several months ago. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked this version of Demolition Man as much as I liked Virgin's 3DO version. Of course, Acclaim's Genesis version doesn't look or sound half as good. But it's just as playable, if not more so.

If there’s anything bad about the game, it could be how certain parts can seem almost impossible. Of course, proper practice eventually fixes this; it can just be frustrating at times. And since you're hanging on to my EVERY word, you should go see the movie this game is based on. It’s a great underrated action movie.

If this game had been released a year ago, like it was planned, it probably would have scored better. But Demolition Man stayed in cart purgatory and 12 other games were released that were just like it. You've all played this type of game before. If you like it, buy it, but don't come crying to me.
