Upon registering for $6, one was supposed to receive instructions to access a hidden storeroom with extra lamp oil and dynamite sticks at one side of the mine, so it is practically freeware.
Technology
The game can be played on almost any PC that runs any version of DOS, as it neither supports nor requires colour.
