My main issue with Die Hard Arcade is its lack of scoring. Obviously your goal is to complete the game, but that's not easy, and a score would have been a nice way to gauge your progress. Oddly enough, a retro bonus game called Deep Scan included. It's probably the slowest arcade game ever made, yet still somewhat fun. The lack of scoring is a problem, but otherwise Die Hard Arcade is a top-notch Saturn title.

Die Hard Arcade is a perfect arcade conversion. It features non-stop beat 'em up action, which was originally on the ST-V board. If that floats your boat...

Overall, Die Hard Arcade is a great game. Even though similarities between the game and the Die Hard movie trilogy are few and far between, I'd say this video game tie-in is well worth playing.

Although the game is short, fans of titles like Streets of Rage will love Die Hard Arcade's familiar beat-em-up style. Rent it first to see if it will keep your attention for more than just a weekend. You're sure to find the action hard to beat.

SEGA SaturnAll Game Guide
Die Hard Arcade will forever be an underrated game as it doesn't come off as being anything more than an action game with weak graphics and the Die Hard movie title attached to it. Beneath the license and the graphics lies a game that is more fun, initially challenging, and diverse than most other 32-bit beat-'em-ups. If you're a fan of the genre, definitely check this one out!
It's ironic that Die Hard, the movie most ripe for console adaptation, has taken so long to hit home video game systems. Perhaps attempting to make up for lost time, Sega is bringing Die Hard Arcade to the Saturn right on the heels of the popular Die Hard Trilogy game. The result is a great action/adventure title with a hero that in no way resembles Bruce Willis.

This doesn't make the game terrible. In fact, it's almost perfect as far as arcade games are concerned. You just really have to feel for the poor saps that plunked down $50 for this back when it was new. There's almost no way to get your moneys worth at that price. If you can find it cheap enough, than this is an excellent buy. There's still plenty of entertainment value.
Though Die Hard Arcade is a perfect Saturn conversion of the ST-V coin-op, to call it anything but a very competent arcade game would be inaccurate. With the exception of a few options to bypass certain sections, it is a strictly linear affair, making for a very predictable experience.

In writing reviews I have a rule: Never spend more time writing the review than you did playing the game. So, for Die Hard Arcade that means I have a twenty-one minute and forty-four second deadline to meet here.
