Dinotopia
Description official description
Dinotopia is an adventure game designed primarily for children which is based upon the books "Dinotopia" and "The World Beneath" by James Gurney.
Players take the role of Nathan Drake, a shipwreck survivor. The major objective is to find Nathan's sister, Constance, who he hopes also survived and washed up elsewhere on the island.
In Dinotopia, dinosaurs are intelligent and speak their own language, which Nathan must learn in order to communicate with them. As he explores the island, he will be doing tasks for the dinosaurs and other humans, picking up inventory objects and solving simple puzzles.

Trivia
Availability
The company went out of business and the game out of print almost immediately upon its release, making this an extremely rare and hard-to-find game.
Engine
Dinotopia uses the same engine as the company's previous game Halls of the Dead: Faery Tale Adventure II. Animator Allison Hershey writes on her site:
"As Dinotopia utilized the same graphic engine as Faery Tale, I trained the character animators of this project in how to use the in-house utilities and specifications for the engine. I also worked on converting special dinosaur mannikins into the correct 2D format for the animators to use."
Extras
The game comes with a pack of cards for playing the game Treble, which was invented by the executive producer and his son. It also includes a 12 page illustrated manual.
Information also contributed by Harry Brown and Itay Shahar.
