Make your way up the platforms

The second gameplay screen
Donkey Kong steals your girlfriend and takes her up to the top of the room.
Use the hammer to smash the barrels that are thrown at you.
Reach the top and you have rescued the girl.
How high can you go?.
The levels get more complex as the game progresses.
Use the ladders to climb further up.
These platforms continually scroll down so good timing is needed to cross.
The last level appears simple enough.
You need to use the hammer to smash the red blocks.
Once all the red blocks are smashed Donkey Kong falls from his perch and the lady is saved.
The game loops round the same levels and continues until you run out of lives.
