doodle jump: HOP The Movie is a vertically-scrolling platform game similar to the original Doodle Jump and featuring characters and themes from the movie HOP (2011). The rabbit E.B. wants to succeed his father, Mr. Bunny, as the Easter Bunny. He first needs to work on his jumping skills and heads to the candy factory, guided by the famous jumper Doodle the Doodler. However, chicken rebels await him there, and their intentions are not friendly.

The game is divided into relatively short levels, each containing various combinations of platforms and hazards. E.B. jumps automatically and is controlled by tilting the device left and right to land on higher platforms. If he misses a jump, he falls down to his death, and the level must be restarted. Hostile chicken of various sizes appear in many stages; touching them also kills E.B., but they can be eliminated by tapping the screen in corresponding places, making E.B. shoot projectiles at them. Platforms come in various flavors, including moving, shape-changing, and disappearing ones.
