Abandonia
As said, even though the graphics might not dazzle you and the sound may be of poor quality, the game play is pretty decent. Although it will never make my it into my top ten of favourite games, I've had my bit of fun playing 4x4. A 3 it is then!

Power Play
"4x4" ist eine etwas unglückliche Mischung. Das Programm erinnert an "Buggy Boy", hat aber schlechtere Grafik und die Rennen dauern länger, ohne deshalb spannender zu werden. Ganz im Gegenteil: Man tuckert etwas lustlos durchs Land und weicht Hindernissen aus. Ein paar Pluspunkte gibt's auch: Einige Computergegner machen einem das Überholen schön schwer (Quietsch, Hup, Ausbrems...). Die Wahl von Auto und Ausrüstung lockert anfangs das Spielgeschehen auf. Bald hat man aber seine optimale Kombination für jede Strecke herausgefunden und dieser Teil des Programms wird dann zur Routine. Und die Rumfahrerei bringt's auch nicht, weil sie zu langweilig ist. Einsteiger, die ein unkompliziertes Rennspiel suchen, werden mit "4x4" noch am ehesten glücklich.
