Mit Aces of the Pacific hat sich Dynamix endgültig einen Platz in der Simulationsoberliga erobert. Spötter könnten sagen, daß sich bei Aces gegenüber dem Vorgänger nicht allzu viel geändert habe - aber an den opulenten Spieloptionen, sowie den exquisiten Missionen, die sowohl für Einsteiger als auch ausgefuchste Pixelpiloten genügend Flugstoff bieten, gab's kaum etwas zu verbessern.

Hoppla! Jetzt hätte ich um ein Haar über meinen ausgiebigen Flugstunden versäumt, diesen Test zu schreiben. "Aces of the Pacific" macht es einem aber auch wirklich nicht leicht, sich vom Bildschirm loszureißen und sich aus dem digitalen Cockpit zu schwingen.

The Good Old Days
Overall 'Aces of the Pacific' is a really good simulation with just a few minor negative aspects, IMHO far better than '1942-The Pacific Air War'. So if you're a fan of aerial combat simulations - go and get it! It's truly worth it.

Im Bereich der Pazifik-Simulationen ist Dynamix' Klassiker immer noch ein reizvolles Spiel, obwohl der Zahn der Zeit ein wenig an ihm genagt hat. Das merkt man vor allem an der Grafik, die ohne Texturen trister aussieht als die neuen Konkurrenten.
