It is another typical evening for you -- watching your uncle once again attempt to prove the world wrong by demonstrating that his wacky inventions really do work.
Well, maybe not quite so typical. Tonight is Halloween. People are wandering the streets in costumes. Ghosts and goblins are everywhere. Your uncle, meanwhile, activates his "wormhole spawner" and the sky rips open. (A wormhole, as everyone knows, is a tunnel through time and space, allowing travel across millions of light years in split seconds.) Amazingly, he's done it. He's finally come up with a gizmo that works.
But what is the cost?
While you are off celebrating the riches that will now no doubt be bestowed upon your family, a spacecraft enters Earth's atmosphere via the worm hole and scans the new environment. The Commander cannot believe his luck. One minute he's millions of light years away, and the next, he's hurtling down a tunnel to a new world full of opportunities. There are neither advanced weapons systems nor sophisticated defenses here. And the simple inhabitants are walking around draped in white gowns! Surely for an alien race who are themselves small and ghostly white (what an amazing coincidence!), this is a world ripe for the taking, for they can move around the community completely unchallenged. They act fast and descend upon the family mansion where your uncle is taken by four little aliens. You are left behind, hiding in shock behind the Worm Hole Spawning device.
Alone you set about rescuing your uncle... (and quite possibly the world) in this beautifully detailed graphic adventure.
