Summary

One of the finest strategy games ever

The Good

AAOW's multiple difficulty levels, scenario creation, and gameplay simply rock. Battles take place in several different locales (plains, bridges, forests, forts) and each locale demands different strategy.

The Bad

Sometimes it became confusing during battles, to see all of your troops. Also, the lack of direct control could be frustrating ... but I suppose that's how it is when you're a general. :)

An old-school, challenging strategy game
