In terms of overall, it really isn't a great game with the Noid. If you are looking for one that might actually be more enjoyable, then the best bet would be the NES game Yo! Noid. This is unlikely to be on the Virtual Console and probably wouldn't be one that would be looked at as a great game. Some people probably liked it and that's fine. Having said that and this is a personal recommendation, go for the one that was on the NES instead if you're going to play a game with the Noid.
