Summary
Surprisingly professional.
The Good
I liked this game's name a lot, and when I downloaded it from an Abandonware site I was very dismayed to find that it is basically an advertisement. I've seen several such games in the past and hated most, but this game positively surprised me.
So what can possibly be good about a game made for Domino's Pizza?
- First and foremost, I was very surprised to find out that this game actually runs perfectly on a much faster computer than it was intended to run on. No problems with a Pentium II 350.
- The game without a doubt looks great, despite 4-colour CGA. Especially Noid him/her/itself, your nemesis, is very well drawn (have a look in the screenshots).
- Excellent sound routines! The digitized sounds work well even under Windows '98, which is quite an acheivment. The sounds themselves aren't bad either.
- Great music!
- Excellent gameplay. This game excells - no obvious gameplay flaws and it's quite fun regardless.
The Bad
Well, it's an advertisement, one for Domino's Pizza none-the-less...
Also, it becomes annoying after a while, and once you finish it you probably won't play it ever again.
The Bottom Line
Again, I must emphasize how professionaly made this game is, and quite fun at that.
